Information Sessions

A Virginia Tech Nutrition and Dietetics Intern gardening.

The Virginia Tech Internship in Nutrition and Dietetics offers a variety of opportunities to learn about our program including live, online information sessions; communications with our current interns or recent graduates; and individual meetings with one of the directors over Zoom or on our campuses in Blacksburg and Alexandria.

Join us for a Virtual Information Session

  • Learn in-depth information about the internship  experience and schedule, including how the program interfaces with our optional partner graduate degree, the OMALS program.
  • Understand the many rotation options available in various locations and how the directors plan experiences for you with your goals and interests in mind.
  • Meet the program directors and experience firsthand how they prioritize a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Interact with current interns or recent graduates.
  • Ask your individual questions during a short, private meeting with one of the directors immediately following the group session.

Meet with a Director

Schedule a 20-minute conversation with one of the directors to introduce yourself, get your questions answered, and learn if our program is a good match for you. We encourage you to review our website thoroughly and ideally attend an information session before scheduling a meeting. When emailing a director to set up a meeting, please offer three times you are available Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We’ll respond as soon as we are able to confirm the meeting time, and we’ll send you a calendar invite with a Zoom link.
